I was born in Grantham, Lincolnshire, England in the 1950s, and have lived in the United Kingdom all my life. Three sixteenths of my family have been in south Lincolnshire/Leicestershire in the 1800s and earlier. I have a grand mother who was born in Kent in the 1890s, and a quarter of my family have been solidly in Kent for at least 200 years. I have a great great grandfather who was born in Nenagh, Tipperary, Ireland in the 1830s. My father is unknown to me but was from Ukraine and arrived in England in the 1940s.
