I DON'T DETOXIFY well. I have all the symptoms of PORTAL SYSTEMIC ENCEPHALO-MYOPATHY. My liver doesn't accomplish it's work. ( basic liver function tests are normal) Blood passes through the liver but, it is not processed. The initial abnormality detected was 4-6 Hz SPIKE & WAVE features in my EEG. These epileptic forms and seizures increased in frequency when I was given neurological meds. (this indicator of liver weakness causing 4-6 Hz waves has been in Merk's Manual for many years) Most Drs missed this and gave me neurological meds which produced terrible SIDE EFFECTS (usually SIADH) I an NULL for GST-T, GST-M. My NAT2 is catalytically inefficient,, CYP2C19*2 is non-functionalas well as PMP22, FECH, DOK7 , etc.I have limb-girdle weakness and fatigue and have been diagnosed as a "secondary PORPHYRIC, dys-autonomic, have neuropathy and myopathy. I take salt because of chronic hyponatrimia. I use a wheel chair and can still transfer.
